Begin the weekend Wisco-style, a happy hour with the perfect mix of suds, spirits, and story. Yes, stories—a staple of life. Co-founder Jet Waller explains it best, “The Love WI Project is a digital storytelling initiative that shares positive stories from and about Wisconsin. From our quirky state pride, to our unique history, to our deeper passion to work for our communities, Love WI brings Wisconsinites together into conversation about our lives, our state and its future.” Come and see and hear stories shared through different mediums – photography, video and writing. The interactive gallery showcases inspiring, quirky, humorous, and sublime stories collected over a span of a year, including the popular “Wish for Wisconsin” series that puts the spotlight on some of our youngsters and their aspirations. And, if you like, you can share your story! This event is part of the Forward Festival. Visit Love WI on Facebook or check out their website for more information.
